The Sea Club
Sustainability
At The Sea Club we firmly believe in responsible tourism and in the need to take care of the privileged natural environment in which we find ourselves. Cala Ratjada is not only a magical place for its beauty, but also an environment that deserves to be preserved for future generations. For this reason, we have taken a decisive step towards sustainability with the incorporation of a photovoltaic installation in our facilities, which allows us to generate clean energy and significantly reduce our environmental footprint. This action reflects our ongoing commitment to the environment and to the transition towards a greener and more efficient energy model.
Solar energy
For a better future
A photovoltaic installation project has been carried out on the rooftops of our buildings, with a total investment of €39,831.22, with the aim of reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions. The installation, with a capacity of 25 kW and 24.92 kWp, allows for an estimated annual energy consumption reduction of 78.80%. This project has been funded with the support of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, within the framework of the Investment Plan for the Energy Transition of the Balearic Islands (PITEIB). Through this program, we have been granted a subsidy of €17,007.90. More information: www.empresasl.com/renovables

Circularity plan
At The Sea Club Hotel, we are implementing a circularity plan with the financial support of I-STARS, to promote sustainable and efficient practices in the hotel industry. This project aims to optimize resource use and minimize environmental impact in our establishments. The sustainability journey of The Sea Club was co-funded by the European Union, under the I-STARS SMP-COSME-2021-TOURSME Project No. 101085914.
